On research of interaction of cobalt ions (II) and sodium sulfite

In the work the results of studying the balance in the system FeSРћ_3(тв) - Fe²⁺ - SРћ₃^2- - Рќ₂Рћ by the conductometry method have been presented. The values of iron (II) sulphite solubility in the temperature band 25-55°С have been given. On the basis of the experimental data the calculation of the thermodynamic functions has been produced.

On solubility of iron (II) sulphite and its thermodynamic characteristics

The paper contains the spectrophotometric research of the cobalt complex compound in a water solution with the cobalt concentration from 0.008 up to 0.08 mol/l with СЂРќ equal to 7,71В±0,05 and the constant ionic force 0,02. The research of the optical density has been carried out at the wave length equal to 470 nm in the pan with the length 30 mm. By the methods of isomolar series, molar attitudes, balance shift and by the electrolysis data the structure of the appearing compound [CoSO₃]⁰ has been found out. Using Babko and Schwarcenbach's methods the values of optical absorbtion molar coefficient and the constants of the complex connection stability have been calculated.
